Online published student fees are based on a February 14, 2025 enrollment date. Fees are subject to change; contact Interact to receive your group's confirmation checklist which includes your group's student fee.
Student fee is based on mid-week travel with a minimum, total combined group size of 20 for programs operating in COSTA RICA. A small group supplement may apply if fewer. Travel during Holy Week or other prime holidays may be excluded.
DAY ONE - Costa Rica Lodge or Homestay

Costa Rica is proud to share its unique natural heritage with you. Interact's foreign representative will meet you in the airport lobby.
Transfer to Rancho Lodge or your host families.
HOST FAMILIES live in the community of La Guacima. Host families are monitored and continually evaluated by the respective homestay directors. Families provide all meals - except those included as part of the touring. Everyone speaks Spanish in the home. Students normally share with one other group member of the same general language ability.
DAY TWO - Coffee & Crafts
Experience the Cafe Britt or Doka coffee tours. You'll be immersed in a colorful journey through their working plantation and roastery. Learn how experts taste or 'cup' coffee to identify and grade the characteristics that qualify a gourmet coffee. Then, browse their factory store and gift shop. Later, visit a popular craft center. Enjoy shopping for traditional hand-painted oxcarts and souvenirs.

DAY THREE - Rainforest /Chocolate
Panoramic drive via exuberant Braulio Carrillo National Park. Upon arrival at the Sarapiqui River, cruise through the magnificent rainforest as you witness tropical birds, monkeys, sloth, lizards and caiman. Following lunch, participate in a unique chocolate . Experience the chocolate-making process first-hand and even have the opportunity to treat your taste buds to organic rainforest chocolate!
DAY FOUR - SOMOS humanitarian
Participate in our exclusive SOMOS humanitarian total experience. You'll receive a list of the most needed items and visit a local 'super', where you'll have an opportunity to
purchase those supplies (budget $15 each). Complete your SOMOS experience as you interact with the children while painting, gardening, etc.
Later, have fun learning to salsa.
DAY FIVE- Arenal Hot Springs
Enjoy a panoramic drive to Sarchi, the famous production center for traditional hand-painted oxcarts and souvenirs. Your next stop is Zarcero, famous for its amazing animals sculpted from living Cypress trees. Continue to Arenal. Visit a hot springs recreational area, such as Baldi. Swim in one of nature's therapeutic pools and meander through the botanical gardens. Overnight in the region.
DAY SIX - Optional Zip-Line / Playa
Depart to the Pacific Coast. Consider a popular optional zip-line, Sky Trek. Ride an open air gondola to an open air observation deck for fantastic views. Then, return to the ground by riding a circuit of zip-lines, stretching across canyons and between treetops. Continue to your seaside all-inclusive resort, located along the popular Pacific Coast.
DAY SEVEN - Playa
Swim or relax by your hotel pool, stroll along the boardwalk or and shop for souvenirs.
DAY EIGHT - Return to United States
