Student fee is based on mid-week travel with a minimum, total combined group size of 20 for programs operating in SPAIN. A small group supplement may apply if fewer.


DAY ONE - Overnight flight to Spain

DAY TWO - Madrid Arrival/Alcala Homestay
Arrival at Madrid Airport. Greeting by your courier. Motorcoach & walking tour of Madrid with the local guide. Drive to Alcala de Henares, a Madrid suburb. Meet your host families. Lunch with the host family. A member of the family accompanies the students until the meeting point to show them the way from the host family house. Two students stay with each host family. Guided visit of the University. Visit Casa Cervantes.

YOUR MIDDLE CLASS HOST FAMILIES are selected and monitored by the respective resident city director of Linguatur Internacional, widely regarded as the most respected homestay organization in Spain today. Additionally, a resident courier works directly with each Organizing Teacher and their participants during each homestay, thus ensuring a well coordinated, memorable experience. Host families frequently work and homes may not be accessible during the day. Touring is planned accordingly. Spanish is spoken in the homes.

DAY THREE - Madrid
Full day excursion by public transportation (train & metro) to Madrid. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Visit Las Ventas Bullring and Museo Taurino. Free time in El Retiro Park. Visit the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia.

DAY FOUR - Madrid
Full day excursion by public transportation (train & metro) to Madrid. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Visit Real Fabrica de Tapices. Guided soccer tour of Real Madrid Museum and Stadium.

DAY FIVE - Madrid
Full day excursion by public transportation (train & metro) to MADRID. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Visit Museo Panteon de Goya, Royal Palace, and the Templo de Debob.

DAY SIX - AVE Speed Train to Barcelona
Cultural Rally. Lunch with the host family. A member of the host family accompanies the students until the Train Station. Depart AVE to Barcelona. Arrival to Barcelona Train Station. Motorcoach transfer to the meeting point. Meet the local coordinator and host families. Three students stay with each host family.

DAY SEVEN - Barcelona
A member of the family accompanies the students until the meeting point to show them the way from the host family house. The local courier will give you a 3 day travel card for unlimited use of public transportation in the Barcelona area. Meet with the local guide. Visit Barri Gotic: Cathedral, Plaza del Rei, Plaza Sant Jaume, Ramblas, Mercat de la Boqueria, Plaza Catalunya, and the Picasso Museum. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Afternoon to enjoy Barceloneta Beach.

DAY EIGHT - Barcelona
Meet with the guide. Visit la Sagrada Familia and Pedrera-Casa Mila. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Later, visit Parque G?ell.

DAY NINE - Barcelona
Visit Catalunya National Art Museum (MNAC) and Poble Espanyol. Ask your host family for the packed lunch. Complete today with a Golondrinas Boat trip.
