Online published student fees are based on a February 14, 2025 enrollment date. Fees are subject to change; contact Interact to receive your group's confirmation checklist which includes your group's student fee.
Student fee is based on mid-week travel with a minimum, total combined group size of 20 for programs operating in COSTA RICA. A small group supplement may apply if fewer. Travel during Holy Week or other prime holidays may be excluded.
DAY ONE - Costa Rica Homestay
Welcome to nature's wonderland. Your Interact Representative greets you in the airport
and transfers you to Rancho de Espanol, located in the countryside community of La Guacima,
Alajuela, where you'll meet your homestay director and host families.
YOUR HOST FAMILIES
are relatives, neighbors, or lifelong friends of our homestay directors. In fact, many
host families are related to one another. Regardless, all families are constantly monitored
and continually evaluated. Host families provide all meals - except those included as
part of the touring. Everyone speaks Spanish in the home. Students normally share with
one other group member of the same general language ability.
Rancho de Espanol serves as the meeting point and social center for all activities.
The park-like grounds feature a swimming pool, volleyball, and soccer.
DAY TWO - Waterfall Gardens/
Have you ever felt the spray from a 120ft waterfall on your face? Well, today is your day.
La Paz Waterfall Gardens is known for its spectacular waterfalls and its rescued wildlife preserve,
with over 100 species of animals. Later, have fun with your cooking
at Rancho de Espanol featuring picadillo and tortillas.

factory store and gift shop. Later, visit a popular craft center. Enjoy shopping for
traditional hand-painted oxcarts and souvenirs.

Later at Rancho, you'll also have fun learning to
salsa.
